Excursus Peelings
- Fine abrasive particles (abrasives)
- Remove dead skin cells through mechanical friction
- Soft gommage particles (gommage French: “to erase”/peel) offer numerous advantages:
– Not sharp-edged, therefore also suitable for sensitive skin
– Ecological (no microplastics)
– Highly effective
– Only a gentle massage causes the dead skin cells to visibly bind with the exfoliating particles and are removed without irritating the skin
- Based on proteolytic enzymes (proteases)
- Dissolve cornifications intensively and without mechanical action
- Break down proteins from the intercellular lipid matrix of the corneal layer, thus releasing the cornified scales from the cell structur
- Intensively dissolve keratinization
- At the same time, they ensure the formation of new elastic and collagen fibres
- AHAs (alpha hydroxy acids) are often used, they are effective and support skin renewal very well, but can cause irritation

Application
Professional:
Apply a thin layer to cleansed, dry skin and allow to take effect shortly: sensitive skin approx. 3 – 5 min, normal skin approx. 10 – 15 min. Then massage over face and neck until the product rolls off along with the excessive skin cells („eraser effect“). Rinse off afterwards and apply a tonic. Leave out the area around eyes and mouth.
Retail:
Depending on the skin type, apply a thin layer 1 to 2 times a week to cleansed, dry skin and allow to take effect shortly: approx. 3 minutes for sensitive skin, approx. 8 minutes for normal skin. Then remove Triple Effect Peeling as described above (see professional size).
